Together with OpenDNS, NETGEAR® Live Parental Controls offer the unique ability to help block communication between known malware sites and your network.  Employing LPC on your network will help protect all your computers from malware attacks.  Along with malware protection, LPC offers the ability to block websites that originate in countries such as Russia or China. - Do it yourself - $0

OpenDNS content filtering is technically a free service. For legal purposes let it be noted that we do not re-sell OpenDNS content filtering or any other OpenDNS services. We advertise the router which is modified to use OpenDNS, and we charge a fee for the service we do to employ the content filtering on the router as well as the content filtering setup and support. There is no licensing or subscription fee included.  We are regarded as a managed service provider and are legally permitted to provide a service to our customers by the OpenDNS terms of use. 

NETGEAR® Live Parental Controls is also a free service, powered by NETGEAR® and OpenDNS.  We do not resell the service, but only sell the router, and for a fee setup the router if the customer requests it. 
Content filtering is not a perfect solution and as there are a variety of ways to bypass any content filtering system we cannot promise 100% success in applying our content filtering system to your network.
